Meet Lydia: A Native Girl from Southeast Alaska (My World: Young Native Americans Today Series)

Book Description
Featuring the life of a young girl living in Juneau, Hoonah, and the surrounding area, this is the third book in a series produced in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institution. Meet Lydia: A Native Girl from Southeast Alaska takes the reader along as Lydia travels to a cabin deep in the bush, a waterfall she visits often, family lands adjacent to a cannery, beachcombing, and with her during her school-day.

Principal photography for this book was completed in May and June of 2003, with a Fall 2004 publication date.
